NEXGEN: Electronic Locking System

The NEXGEN system was developed to provide access control, audit capability, route management, and physical security in one self contained locking solution. The technology is now available in a t-handle cylinder as well as a cam lock, removable plug lock, and parking meter door. No hardwiring is required of the lock because it derives all of its power from the key, and installation is the equivalent of installing a mechanical cylinder.

The NEXGEN system gives you the ability to program who gets into your equipment and when they get in. The system will also track all collection activities, including authorized openings and unauthorized attempts to open the lock.

The NEXGEN lock is built to the same physical security standards as the Medeco mechanical line, and provides strong resistance to all forms of physical attack, including pulling and drilling.
